Description
The McNeil family of Homestead was built by Joseph A. McNeil. Homestead UMC owns the house built by Mr. McNeil after coming to Florida after losing his plantation on the Isle of Youth when it was returned to the Cuban government finally in 1927. Cuba had over 400 American/North American plantation owners there after the Spanish American War.
